  Bad experience at Paşa Döner – Istanbul Airport (IST). On Saturday, September 13, 2025, at around 9:15 PM, I went to Paşa Döner inside IST Airport (after security and passport control area). I ordered Set No. 12 (Pilav Üstü Döner), which is shown on the menu board at ₺1485 (~$35–38 USD). The photo does not mention different sizes, so like most customers, I assumed there was only one standard portion. When I placed my order, the staff member asked me about “size.” She spoke very quickly in English with an accent. Since the menu does not show any size options, I thought she was referring to the drink size. I replied “medium.” When I went to pay, the bill was ₺2499 (~$60–65 USD) — over ₺1000 more than the posted price. I was shocked and confused. Of course, my biggest mistake was that I still paid without quickly calculating how much it would be in USD. What I received was very basic self-service food in the food court — nothing special, and certainly not worth the inflated price. I felt misled and taken advantage of. For me, this was not an honest “upsell” but rather a scam: The menu clearly shows one price (₺1485). There is no mention of different sizes or higher prices. The way the order was taken (speaking quickly, without clarifying) created confusion. When I raised the issue, the young woman who took my order kept saying there were cameras, as if that proved she was right. But cameras do not change the fact that the menu is unclear. To her, it may have seemed like normal upselling. To a visitor from another country, it felt like being scammed. When I recorded a short video for my protection, the staff became very anxious and told me it was “illegal.” I find it strange that overcharging a customer is acceptable, but protecting yourself with evidence is considered a problem. T he staff said they processed a refund, but as of now, I still do not see it reflected in my credit card app. Unfortunately, I no longer trust their word. This experience really ruined

  Burası tamamen para tuzağı. Seçtiğim iftar menüsü neredeyse 40 Euro ve kesinlikle buna değmez. Yemek yemek için burayı tercih etmeyin. Personel çok iyi ve güleryüzlü fakat işletmenin kendisi berbat.

  2 drüm 1 içecek 3 su 65 € ve güzel değil. Bu kadar pahalı bari güzel olsa, dünyanın her yerinden insan bu havalimanından geçiyor, böyle mi tanıtıyoruz dönerimizi? Lütfen biraz emek verin. İstanbul merkezde harika dönerler var , bu dünyanın en büyük havalimanlarından biri ve böyle başarısız bir döner !!! Para kolay kazanılmıyor, çöpe attık paramızı! Pardon 3 su bir de kola aldık 65 € ya
